Check-in very easy and friendly.
The shower fluctuated between cold and scalding hot, stressful during my two-night stay. The rooms felt tired, and the cleanliness left much to be desired, with cobwebs and old carpet present. I was disappointed to find that there was no cleaning service at all , not even bed-making.

We had an exceptional service, beautifully decorated and brand-new room with very comfortable bed as well as wine. The hotel was in a lovely location not far from the bay immediately outside the patio door, Akaroa for shopping and banks peninsula.

The food next door is awesome, the shabushabu will blow your mind! Plus, those views from the Apartment with Sea View are amazing. It's a real treat to wake up to a fine sight of the waters. And don't even get me started on the friendly hosts were really good .
Now, with the hot weather, the lack of air conditioning made things a bit sticky. Just keep those window locks on when it's too hot to leave open at night.

the hotel was a chilled-out base for enjoying a very pleasant area, next to local sights and new zealand. i booked a nice size apartment here with very comfortable bed and 1 bedroom and cutlery. extra facilities such as a microwave, an electric kettle, and a refrigerator were really useful. the location was excellent and unbeatable - a few steps away from everywhere i wanted to go.

The apartment offered fine views, made the mornings special. The shower fluctuating between cold and hot was quite stressful, and the lack of proper cleaning service during our two-night stay was disappointing. It's aesthetically pleasing but could benefit from some maintenance in the facilities.

Upon my arrival, I was welcomed with genuine warmth by the hotel team. The room itself offered lovely views of the seafront, providing an idyllic backdrop for my solo journey. Exploring the nearby scenery was effortless, and the fine vistas from my room were a good way to start each day.
Although my stay was enjoyable, I found that the exterior could use a bit of care and attention.

Stayed in the Apartment with Sea View for 1 night. The views were fine, and waking up to that was a highlight! The room felt comfy overall, but the sliding door to the balcony was super hard to open. The carpet had some big stains, a bit of a letdown. It's nice to know they're aware of this for future fixes. A pleasant stay with gorgeous scenery!
